With the grace of Shiridi Saibaba and divine blessings of Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya, a National level ‘Shri Shiridi Sai Devotees Convention’ was held at Cherukupalli Pichireddy Kalyana Mandapam, Nellore from 23-Aug-2014 to 25-Aug-2014. The main objective of organizing Sai devotees’ convention was to create awareness on "the life history and spiritual teachings of Shiridi Saibaba and inculcation of human values through Shri Sai Sacharithra" amongst Sai devotees. The three days program was grand successful and attended by well known Shiridi Saibaba preachers from different states and more than 5000 sai devotees across India.

The convention was started on 23-08-2014 with Jyothi Prajwalanam by invited delegates Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya (Founder – SSTPS, SSSC), Smt. I. Deepa Venkat, (Managing Trustee – Swarna Bharathi Trust, Nellore), Shri Alturi Aadinarayana Reddy (AMR Constructions, Hyderabad), Shri Vijayakumar, (Hyderabad) and Dr. Gondkar (Shri Shiridi Saibaba Samsthan Trustee, Shiridi). The convention formally started with an inspiring, motivating, and heart touching messages by invitees followed by inauguration of ‘Shri Shiridi Sai Photo Exhibition’ and ‘Shri Sai Satcharithra Quiz Competition’ by Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya.

Shri Vijayakumar and Dr Gondkar took away audience with their unforgettable incidents and experiences with Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya in their unique way of narrations and injected the divine message of Shiridi Saibaba into the deep hearts of devotees. The following sessions continued with thought provoking speeches on ‘The importance and implementation of Shri Saibaba teachings in modern life style’. Thought provoking speeches on spiritual personality development, selfless services, hard work, determination and controlling Harishadvargas as preached by Saibaba highly motivated the sai devotees. Moreover, speakers had successfully clarified many doubts of sai devotees on Shiridi Saibaba avatar during the discussion on ‘Is Saibaba a Human? or a God? or a Sadguru?’.

The special attraction of the Sammelanam was Saibaba Nataka Pradarshana by Shri Chittibaba and team. Shri Chittibabu, Movie actor and his team members rocked the floor with their wonderful play on Shiridi Saibaba life history including Bhagoji’s leprosy story, Shimpi’ story, Baba’s 72 hours Samadhi Ghattam, Shyama Kathalu etc., Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya who played the role of Shri Saibaba left an everlasting impression to all devotees and diverted the minds to Sai’s world.

In all the three days, Sai devotees experienced the divine bliss by singing and participating in four Harathis (Kakada, Madyahna, Dhoop and Shej Harathis) along with Shiridi Pujari (Retired) which became a special attraction to devotees. Further sessions consisted of Bhajans organized by Shri Shastri Bhajan Group, Rajamandri and Shri Sai Sadan Bhajan Group, Nellore, Kolata Pradarshan, the folk dance of AP by Shri Shiridi Saibaba MahilaSeva Samaj, Markapuram, AP and Mahishasura Mardanam, classical dance by Kumari Jagruthi, AP.

Most importantly, Sai preachers at Shri Shiridi Sai Devotees Convention together condemned the criticisms raised on Shiridi Saibaba. Through the convention, Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya urged Sai devotees to read Sai Satcharithra and implement Sai’s teachings to develop a moral code of love and humanity. Mr. RamaRao, Coordinator, SSTPS – Nellore expressed his happiness and gratitude to Shiridi Saibaba and Swami Shri Sai Viswachaitanya for giving the opportunity to conduct national Shiridi Sai devotees convention at Nellore.
With the holy blessings of Shiridi Saibaba and Swamiji, the second National level ‘Shri Shiridi Sai Devotees Convention’ was held at Agricultural Market Yard, Sultanabad, Tenali from 9-April-2015 to 12-April-2015 and attended by 5500 Sai devotees each day.
The Convention was organized by Sai Seva Samithi, Tenali with the grace and divine guidelines of H.H.SWAMI SRI VISWA CHAITANYA SWAMIJI.
